The Flying Squirrel, Bondi

miss c, mr j and I ate at The Flying Squirrel one frigid Saturday night, and it was delicious. we sat outside under the heater, drank beer / a ‘marg’ (as our charming & hot waitperson familiarly called the margarita), and ate little plates of wonderful, adventurous and tasty morsels.

Absolute outstanding dish was the pumpkin ravioli with thai red curry sauce and macadamia and coconut sprinkles, omg, it was amazing.

  1. ahh, it was tasty indeed (and yes, apt picture of our waitperson) – and immensely lovely to see you miss z! I’m looking forward to some spring picnics soon up your way.

p.s. a bit alarming, but I’ve just realised that there seems to be an absolute dearth of blogs in the C (perhaps – none??). There’s such outstanding produce here that I feel quite obliged to start project-boarding this….

  2. sounds great, particularly the sweet waitperson!!

I think you didn’t need any dessert after that, or?!😉

  3. miss c – definitely time to start project boarding your ascendancy into the blogoshere, reporting live from canbs (one of just a couple, it seems!).

kiki, you would definitely had eyes for our friendly waiter, sooo your type! come visit and I’ll take you there to see him, um, I mean, eat the delicious flying squirrel food!

    xxxx
